About Us

Located in the Iowa Great Lakes Region of Northwest Iowa and Southwest Minnesota, our chapter recognizes the value and importance of the HR profession as it relates to employers and employees alike.  Through our meetings, quality programming and extensive networking, we offer numerous occasions for professional growth and development.  Several times a year we offer meetings with SHRM & HRCI credits, and all meetings and activities provide occasions for encouragement and interactions with HR peers.

Nationally, SHRM has over 600 chapters with more than 190,000 members.  Although our chapter is small in comparison, we emphasize continued support of excellence in the Human Resource field and provide a forum for members to enhance individual skills relevant to the HR industry.  We encourage our members to take an active role not only in our chapter, but also in their local community.  Check us out, you will be glad you did!
