View of Therapy: The counseling I provide especially deals with how the Christian faith guides, informs and effects the struggles life brings our way. I believe that our lives are filled with purpose and meaning, that life is more than just a series of random events. If our lives have purpose, then our trials have purpose. And if our trials have purpose then they are not just things to get rid of; instead they somehow fit into a bigger story.

To better understand our struggles (our stories,) we need to consider: how we are created, the nature of the world in which we live, the struggles, pain and dissatisfaction we experience, our misguided attempts to deal with struggles, pain and dissatisfaction, the ultimate answer to our deepest desires, and the path of healing and restoration.

Our lives are being written by God for a purpose. My goal is to support people as they go through their trials, to help them better understand their purpose, and to assist them in living life with greater freedom, joy and faithfulness.
